Brazilian EXPO Pavilion
Space Week Experience
World EXPO - Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The Space Week immersive experience was exhibited on special nights at the Brazilian pavilion, EXPO. It covered approximately 3500 square meters of facade, using 149 projectors. Our team designed the audio and video elements inspired by Brazil's national colors, iconography of the country space engineering, and local biomes.
The Brazilian Pavilion was located in EXPO's sustainability district. Designed by MMBB Arquitetos, the minimalist pavilion consisted of a membrane cube and a wide open reflecting pool, symbolizing Brazilian water resources. During hot mornings in Dubai, the pool provided relief from the heat for more than 2 million visitors. In the evenings, the water reflected the projections on the massive membrane, immersing visitors in images and sounds of Brazil.
