Museum of Possible Futures
Tomie Ohtake Institute (itinerant) - Vitória and Brasília, Brazil
The Museum of Possible Futures featured installations, photographs, and unprecedented multimedia works developed from technologies and knowledge impacted by many transformations in recent decades: from genetic engineering to instantaneous communication flows, passing through the production of synthetic materials and the means of virtual sociability.
We were commissioned to create two interactive installations at the MoPF: one that presented future technologies and their impacts on society as a news broadcasting device, and another one as a meta-map reflecting on the entire museum. We also participated in the museum with a previously completed work, "Teleport City," alongside other art works by invited artists.
Museum of Possible Futures (MoPF) was envisioned by Tomie Ohtake Institute.
